Well what a GREAT night was had by all, from the band to the dancers to the drinkers.. we all had a fabulous evening and raised over £900 for the society coffers too!
Thanks go to everyone who put the effort in, to the Tapestry group for their support and donations, to all the private and business donations for the auction (which went really well, well done Frederick on being the auctioneer). To Olga and AlterEgo, the ceildh band, to the caller for trying to organise the chaos into something that resembles a dance, to Michelle who slaved over a broken oven in the kitchen and organised the food and soft drinks which was appreciated by the hungry dancers.
It was a good turn out too from the village and friends and colleagues of Tom, thanks for all the support - I bet Tom was desperately looking down from Valhalla and wishing he was there and revelling in all the fun...
